NGC was invited to participate in the Summit on Service Innovation in Cities, an event that brought together 30 cities with 100 global innovation leaders in Rio de Janeiro on May 2/3 2012.
We found the approach of City Lab quite interesting: cities define a challenge they need to address and call for proposals. Then an independent jury selects the best project for each challenge.
This allows for better information sharing on the state-of-the-art solutions regarding key urban challenges, something that was lacking at a global level.
In this context, NGC was asked to present the NCF mobile health project it manages in Rio.
